We are sorry to announce that Steve Ovenden has resigned from the Trust Board, as he no longer has sufficient spare time to commit fully to the role. Steve has been an active member of the board for a number of years and has participated fully in the Trust’s achievements in this time. We would like to thank for Steve for all his hard work and are pleased to hear that he still intends to help organise the Trust Social events going forward. Steve has developed these into very enjoyable occasions which allow players, staff and Trust members to socialise together and build a stronger bond between the fans and the club.

Trust chair Seth Sowerby commented: “Steve has had a huge impact on York City Supporters’ Trust and YCFC over the years. We shall miss his contributions as a Trust board member but are thrilled that he will remain involved in our Trust Socials, and more crucially as the club’s Chief Roaring Officer.”
